The core of this project consists of two main components: a high-strength air-rib main structure and a constant-pressure intelligent control system. Through high-precision simulation verification and innovations in material technology, it overcomes challenges related to structural stability in high-altitude, low-oxygen, and extreme temperature-difference environments. This breakthrough supports the asphalt concrete core wall filling for the dam and significantly advances the construction of this major water conservancy project. Furthermore, it breaks through the technical limitations of traditional air-rib inflatable membrane spans, achieving an extra-large span of 56 meters and establishing a new paradigm of “flexible infrastructure.”

The project pioneers an integrated solution combining flexible membrane materials, intelligent air-ribs, and a movable base. It allows easy installation and disassembly, supports high reusability with modular reassembly for over 20 cycles, and maintains a overall relocation accuracy of within ±5 cm. This represents a deep integration of materials science, intelligent control, and structural engineering, driving a transformative shift in inflatable membrane structures from “static entities” to “dynamic systems.”
